inv.so was born out of frustration. As a freelance designer, I tried every invoicing tool available — FreshBooks, Wave, QuickBooks, Bonsai, and dozens of others. They were all bloated, corporate, confusing, or designed for accountants — not creatives.

I needed something simple: create an invoice, send it, track if it's paid. That's it. No expense tracking, no payroll, no accounting complexity. Just beautiful, minimal invoices that match my brand.

So I built inv.so for myself. And it turns out a lot of other creatives had the same problem.
